The Charles Correa Foundation (CCF) announces a vacancy for the position of Programme Lead – Public Programmes & Publications, based at the Foundation’s studio in Fontainhas, Goa. The Programme Lead will oversee a portfolio of conferences, competitions, student engagement initiatives, and publications while contributing to the Foundation’s mission of Education and Research in Human Settlements.

Requirements:
- Professional degree in Architecture or Urban Design / Planning with at least two – three years of work experience or has a Masters degree.
- Demonstrate leadership in team-building.
- Familiarity with accounting and estimates, understanding of WordPress and social media platforms.
- Ability to delegate work and manage the day to day activities of the Foundation.
- Proficiency in Autocad, Sketchup, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design).
- Portfolio of work (include academic and professional work), maximum 15 pages.
- CV outlining educational qualifications and professional experience.
- Task response: Essay (500 words max). Choose any one of the following prompts –
- Of all the ideas that Correa wrote about, which one do you think CCF is best positioned to address today? Why?
- Based on CCF’s motto of ‘Education and Research in Human Settlements’, propose a pilot project for the Foundation, briefly touching upon all the aspects required to take it forward. You may refer to ongoing and past initiatives of the Foundation for inspiration (available on our website: charlescorreafoundation.org).
- Academic writing sample (published or unpublished).
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director, Assistant Director and Managing Trustee to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Foundation’s public programmes, publications, and strategic initiatives.
- Organise national and international events, conferences, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, competitions, student engagement initiatives, and other public programmes that advance the Foundation’s mission, take forward from the Correa Archives and discuss ideas for improving the urban realm.
- Lead the development and production of the Foundation’s publications by coordinating with editors, designers, publishers, contributors, and other project partners.
- Prepare grant applications, programme reports, and other institutional documents to support fundraising, partnerships, and programme delivery.
- Oversee the documentation, organisation, and dissemination of the Charles Correa Archives and the Foundation’s research, publications, and public programmes.
- Present Charles Correa’s philosophy, archives, and the Foundation’s work to students, practitioners, collaborators, and visitors through institutional engagements and public programmes.
- Support the day-to-day management of the Foundation’s studio, including programme administration, financial tracking, reporting, and coordination with the administrative team.
