Charles Correa Foundation – Student Ambassador

The CCF Student Ambassador Program is a year-long initiative that brings together third-year undergraduate students of architecture, urban design, and urban planning from across the country. Each ambassador represents their institution at a national level, acting as a bridge between their college and the initiatives of the Charles Correa Foundation (CCF).

The program takes place in two parts. In the first phase, ambassadors are introduced to the Foundation’s key initiatives and resources; the Charles Correa Archives, CCF’s Publications, the Charles Correa Gold Medal and Gold Medal Storehouse, Nagari films, and the C20 Initiative, among many others. They are encouraged to introduce these initiatives to their institute and peers using creative formats of dissemination, and in doing so, facilitate exchanges around their learnings. As the Foundation continues to grow, each cohort of Ambassadors will have a unique experience in engaging with the expanding plethora of resources.

The second phase is project-based. Each ambassador undertakes a self-initiated project over a six-week period, aligned with one or more of the Foundation’s initiatives. With mentorship and guidance from CCF, these projects become an opportunity to explore, interpret, and apply the Foundation’s work in different forms at their institutes.

Participation in the program is selective, with one ambassador chosen per institution. While all core sessions are conducted virtually, ambassadors are encouraged to initiate in-person collaborations, discussions, and peer networks, particularly those from the same cities and states. For students, the program offers a platform for leadership, critical engagement, and national representation. For institutions, it provides a meaningful channel to connect their student body with CCF’s work. The program reflects CCF’s commitment to education and research in human settlements through its various initiatives.

At the conclusion of the program, in recognition of their engagement and participation, Student Ambassadors are awarded a certificate from the Charles Correa Foundation.

  1. Urgent: Can a student from the 4th year apply for this program, or does it have to be the 3rd year only?

Note: Both the contact numbers of CCF are not working. Can you provide an alternate number to contact the organization?
